The Fall of Weslo
Umber forest is an ancient forest, once the home of a large elven empire. The forest was a major outpost for elves who defended the frontier from the evil denizens of the North and the wilderness of the Sember coast. The name of this kingdom was “Edenglarion” and the descendants of the civilization are now scattered across the land. The forest is separated by a dirt road that cuts through the heart of the forest, connecting North and South Umber. The settling humans in those towns believe the forest to be haunted and rarely venture off the road or far into the wilderness. It is a temperate forest, with some coniferous, evergreen trees in the northern edge. The approximate size of the forest is roughly 100 miles from northern end to southern end and 50 miles east-west. The forest is fed by two rivers on its eastern and western edge, and streams that run southerly through the forest from those rivers. The forest borders grassland plains to the south, and gently rolling hills to the north.
